STATE minister for health James Kakooza has launched the fourth term campaign for President Museveni in Ssembabule district.

At least 10 MPs and several local leaders from the districts of Lyantonde, Masaka and Rakai attended the function at Lwebitakuli sub-county headquarters in Ssembabule on Sunday.

The MPs included the Buganda Parliamentary Caucus chairperson and Woman MP for Nakaseke district, Rose Namayanja, Woman MP Rukungiri district, Winnie Matsiko, Iddi Lubyayi (Bukomansimbi), Isaac Ssejjoba (Bukoto Mid-West) and Muyomba Kasozi (Central Region Youth MP).

Others are Abdu Kitatta (Bukoto West), Loi Kiryapawo (Budaka), Mariam Nalubega (Youth MP Central) and Ssembabule district Woman MP, Hanifa Kawooya.

Kakooza, who is also the MP for Kabula in Lyantonde, commissioned the Ssembabule district youth brigade that will campaign for the Mawogola MP, Sam Kutesa and Kawooya in the 2011 elections.

“The NRM party is here to stay, President Museveni is also going to stay for the fourth term because he is still capable,” he said.

Kakooza said the NRM Government needed more time to deal with oil development after flushing out the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels.
