WHAT was your first job? Where and when was it? How much did you earn then?
I was a salesman at a wholesale shop in the UK. I later returned home and was made Busoga Kingdom’s treasurer.

What is the most enduring memory of your first job?
I had to work so hard and for long hours in hard conditions. But I kept hoping for the best. It is this patience and commitment, which have driven me this far.

What did you learn from it that makes you a better boss?
I learnt to work devotedly and pay attention to every detail of my work. I learnt to take on challenges.

Has the first job changed your career path or perspective of life?
The job made me learn hard work. I learnt that being honest is important in the success of every assignment. I have always diligently done my work, amidst all challenges. I have devotedly served the nation and the people around me, with confidence and honesty. Interviewed by Conan Businge
