Yakan, Lwalanda regain form

RWANDAN Lawrence Yakan and Ugandan partner Luke Eittit on Sunday regained their winning form at the Club National Beach Volleyball Open with a straight sets win over Jeff Lwalanda and Isaac Omedo at Entebbe’s Lido Beach.

RWANDAN Lawrence Yakan and Ugandan partner Luke Eittit on Sunday regained their winning form at the Club National Beach Volleyball Open with a straight sets win over Jeff Lwalanda and Isaac Omedo at Entebbe’s Lido Beach.

Yakan and Eittit, with a combination of hard and tactful spikes and excellent positioning, easily saw off their opponents 21-19, 21-17.

In the women final Andrina Namata and Mercy Tabitha beat Hafsa Nakalema and Sharon Pajije 21-12, 21-15.
