MTN Heathens’ kingpins Mathias Ochwo and Ronald Mwisaka have recovered from injury in time to deal with the menace of Entebbe Mongers in the Super 8 Rugby League at Kyadondo today.

Heathens captain Brian Tabaruka confirmed that Ochwo (knee) and Mwisaka (ankle) who picked up injuries while on national duty in Tunisia two weeks ago are now fit for today’s tie. However, Robert Seguya, who took a knock in Tunis, is not yet fit.

“There’s no way out, we have to bring Mongers down. We just have to beat them decisively. We appreciate Mongers have played well against big teams but we are going to put them in their place,” Tabaruka stated.

Heathens managed a narrow 19-14 win over Mongers in Entebbe in the first round while G4S Pirates had to struggle to a 13-3 victory against Mongers last weekend.

None of the three top teams have managed to snatch a bonus point from Mongers this season but Heathens have vowed to get it to boost their title aspirations.

Heathens with 35 points need a bonus point to maintain a two-point gap on table leaders Uganda telecom Kobs.

At Kampala Club, Kobs take on Hima Impis while Pirates host a Rhino side that will be without captain John Musoke still nursing a broken jaw.

Toyota Buffaloes will host Nile at Kyadondo.
