UGANDA’S busiest fighter in the Diaspora and hottest prospect Sharif “Lion” Bogere returns to the ring on Friday in a fight against Mexican Rodolfo “Bam Bam” Armenta at the Buffalo Bills Star Arena in Nevada.

The fight will be shown on ESPN 2 on the Friday Night Fight series and is being promoted by Nevada promoter Gary Shaw.

It will be Bogere’s eighth fight this year as he moves to maintain his momentum to gain a world title shot later in the year.

“I have been working hard in the gym with lots of Mexican fighters and I am feeling great going into this fight. I expect a hard battle with my opponent come Friday,” Bogere said.

The stylish fighter is on a seven fight winning streak that has seen him knock out four of his last challengers. His record stands at (11-0, 6 KOs).

A win for the Ugandan will push him closer to a North American title or a straight world title challenge in his lightweight division.
