ADAM Ntanda is the second winner of a fully paid trip to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa next year in the on-going MTN Fever 2010 promotion.

A Mukono resident, Ntanda seemed unconvinced about the news until he was handed the dummy ticket.

"For me I still can't believe MTN is taking me to the World Cup because there are so many hoax messages moving around," he said before bursting into laughter.

The 26-year old businessman says he sent many text messages but winning was never on his mind.

"I knew we were so many sending messages but hope to win was a distant dream," he added.

Ntanda, an ardent Cameroon and Brazil fan, is happy that he finally got an opportunity to potentially watch his idols Samuel Eto'o and Kaka in South Africa.

Rachael Mulinde, the MTN brand manager, said the telecommunication company was coming good on its promises.

"We promised our customers and as you can see, we are giving out the tickets," Mulinde said.

The campaign will see a ticket winner every month through customers sending SMS to 2010. Other customers won different prizes including balls, airtime, Vuvuzelas and branded t-shirts.

Grace Mwanje, a Kikubo businessman, was the first winner of the ticket last month which comes with an all-expenses paid trip to watch the World Cup.
