<b>Mbarara gets garbage plant</b><br>MBARARA-A garbage recycling plant worth sh400m was opened on Friday in Kenkombe cell- Rwentondo parish-Kakoba division.

MBARARA-A garbage recycling plant worth sh400m was opened on Friday in Kenkombe cell- Rwentondo parish-Kakoba division. The construction manager, Didus Arinaitwe, said the plant was funded by World Bank through National Environment Management Authority. He said the plan would recycle garbage into manure,saying similar projects are being done in Kabale, Kasese, Fort portal, Mukono, Mbale, Lira, Sorot and Jinja municipalities.

Mothers' Union leaders advised
BUSHENYI-Leaders of Mothers’ Unions have been called upon to unite and fight immorality in the society. West Ankole diocese bishop Rt. Rev. Yona Katoneene warned women leaders to fight against homosexuality, corruption, human sacrifice and drunkardness during a conference at St Peter’s Cathedral –Bweranyangi recently.
