A KARIMOJONG man, who allegedly sold a gun to a man in Kampala was arrested recently after he asked a soldier to help him locate the buyer.

A KARIMOJONG man, who allegedly sold a gun to a man in Kampala was arrested recently after he asked a soldier to help him locate the buyer.
The Police said Loetha Wari from Jie county in Kotido district travelled to Kampala via Luweero where he was housed by the buyer for five days.
“The buyer convinced Wari to travel with him to Kampala where he would get the money,†a source said on condition of anonymity.
“When they got to the city centre, the man disappeared.â€
Wari then asked a soldier to help him find the man but he alerted the Police.
Wari was detained by the Rapid Response Unit, and the Police are also hunting for the man who conned the naive Karimojong.
