Ffumbe’s Kaweesa vows to tame Mbogo

VETERAN striker Mathias Kaweesa believes that he is still fit and can lead Ffumbe to their second Bika soccer shield today.

VETERAN striker Mathias Kaweesa believes that he is still fit and can lead Ffumbe to their second Bika soccer shield today.

The 2005 champions will face Mbogo in the final of the soccer tournament at Nakivubo.

At the same time, dominant side Mmamba will take on Ngeye in the netball final.

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi will preside over the finals.

Kaweesa, top scorer in the 1986 Uganda Super League, believes he can deliver the team to the victory.

Mbogo, winners of the inaugural have in 1950, have in James Kasibante and James Kasibante two of the event’s top also eyeing the crown.
