UNAA election intrigue thickened Saturday night with announcements that a court injunction had been filed challenging the elections.

Confusion is ripe as the possibility existed that the current UNAA executive could stay in office until 2010.

By press time, it was not yet clear who filed the court injunction or what the nature of the challenge was. However, according to Dr. Muniini Mulera, the moderator, the court injunction is directed at the Election Committee and therefore does not affect voting Sunday.

Tension has gripped supporters of Moses Wilson and Flex Kabuye, both challengers that there is an attempt by the incumbents to hijack the democratic process.
