EDITOR—The recent chaos in Kampala should serve as a lesson to kingdoms not to allow politicians to meddle into their cultural affairs.

It is sad that opposition politicians, Medard Lubega Segona and Betty Namboze, are ill-advising Mengo. The Nambozes have failed to find the right forum to front their criticisms, hence opting to use Mengo.

Such acts do not take us anywhere, but instead portray a bad image for Uganda. I commend the Government for the way they handled the situation.
