Insurance netball club NIC started the second round of the national league in high gear as they walloped Uganda Peoples Defence Forces UPDF 54-41 at Nakivubo, Wednesday.

Prossy Nabbosa and Betty Namukasa dominated NIC’s score for a 43-30 lead at half time.

UPDF’s Annet Nakiwu and Martha Soigi jointly pulled back 41 goals but their effort could not save face.

In the other game, the efforts of David Kalule, TLC’s newly assigned coach turned positive after they beat Posta with a deference of three goals.

TLC’s Charity Ajaruva and Takiyah Namanda led their team to a 26-29 victory, according to Kalule.
“I am happy my first game has been a success, other clubs need watch out,” Kalule said.
