MTN Heathens’ quest to complete a league and cup double this Saturday could be helped by home advantage. Uganda rugby governing body URU yesterday confirmed that the Uganda Cup final will be played at Kyadondo, Heathens’ home ground.

URU rugby manager Yayiro Kasasa announced yesterday that the final that was postponed from last weekend will be played on Saturday. The final was postponed because the finalists had a sizeable number of players in the national team that competed in the IRB Sevens circuit in Namibia last weekend.

League champions Heathens will face off with uganda telecom Kobs at 5:00pm in what is expected to be an exciting battle between the traditional rivals.

The final will be preceded by a final between shield sides G4S Pirates 2 and Boks at 3:00pm. There will also be a women curtain raiser game at 1:00pm.

The semifinals were played at Kampala Rugby Club where Kobs and Pirates were on home ground. Surprisingly Kobs have had a good run at Kyadondo in the league and Uganda Cup since 2008.
