TOORO Club continued to be a happy hunting ground for national champion Vincent Byamukama, who turned in another star performance in the Shell Golf Open over the weekend.

Byamukama who returned to the scene of his first victory this season in the Western Open, shot one under par 69 on Independence Day.

He followed it up with a closing round six under par 64 for an aggregate of 133.

The Uganda telecom/USPA golfer of the year beat ex-professional Stephen Kasaija, competing for the first time since reverting to the amateur ranks, by eight strokes.

The other groups were played on stable-ford format, with Happy Robert winning group A. Deo Akope was the top professional with 66 shots in two rounds.
