He said he had instituted an anti-corruption team to apprehend people involved in the practice.
Woman dumps baby on bus
MBARARA-A one-year-old baby was abandoned on a Baby Coach bus by a passenger. Nsubuga Yusuf Olando, the bus conductor, said he was stranded with the child who was abandoned on October 5, by an elderly woman. He said the woman left the bus saying she was going for a short call at Mpumudde in Ssembabule but she did not return. Steven Tumusime, the Mbarara probation officer, said the child would be taken to a babies’ home in Kampala in case Nsubuga, who lives in Mbarara, is not able to look after it.
