RUGBY - Retired rugby players have been urged to join refereeing as a way of giving back to the game. Uganda Rugby Referees Society (URRS) secretary David Kirabira made the call while reacting to the penalty handed to IRB grade II referee Charlie Mungoma. URRS has barred Mungoma from officiating games involving the top three clubs namely MTN Heathens, uganda telecom Kobs and G4S Pirates. This followed what was viewed as poor handling of the Uganda Cup semifinal between Heathens and Pirates.
