Kampala School of Excellency Ministries football stars Yasin Muyimba and Henry Kasirye are set to join a French division three side after a two-year stint in Ivory Coast and Ghana academies.

The two, who leave in December, will turn out for the Etoile Sportive Colombienne Football academy U-18 team.

Muyimba (16) a defensive midfielder and Kasirye have been turning out for Ghana second division sides Welfare Stars and Highlanders FC respectively, having spent a year earlier with the Centre Formation de Bootou Tianku FC’s academy in Ivory Coast in 2007.

According to the executive director of the local charity organisation Dan Ntale, three other Ugandans David Balah, George Mutiibwa and Moses Nsubuga are in Cameroon playing with division three side Ismako FC under a similar exchange program.

‘‘What Ugandan football lacks are the contacts to the budding talent that we have here. And that is the gap I’m trying to bridge because I have contacts in West Africa and Europe.’’ Ntale a former Miracle and SC Villa player said.

Meanwhile, five former Cameroon stars residing in France will team up with Cranes Ex-internationals and play a charity match against SC Villa on December 11, with proceeds from the game going to the school. The stars coming are Patrick Mboma, Oman Biyick, Kana Biyick, Mackanaky and Kessack Maboange.
