Arua Central officials are due to withdraw the team from the Uganda Super League this week because of financial constraints.

The New Vision has learnt that the club’s officials will meet on Wednesday to endorse the move to quit domestic soccer’s premier event.

The club’s director of football Bosco Dudu explained yesterday that unless a miracle happens, the club cannot survive in the league.

“Unless a miracle happens between now and Friday, we would pull out,” Dudu quipped.

“Our efforts to attract sponsors have been futile,” Dudu said of the club making a league debut.
