THE tables are set, the wine glasses sparkling and the angel’s trumpets on the wall are well illuminated by the oval wall lights. The perfect ambience for the meal is set. This is IL Patio Restaurant on Kisozi Compelex.

The restaurant has started a special service to cater to corporate clients.
Your company can make a booking giving the number of customers and the time they shall be visiting IL Patio shall be ready for them as the company hosts a corporate lunch.

Chef Anthony Mwang’ombe says the atmosphere at IL Patio is conducive for large parties of professionals.

It is one of those restaurants in Kampala whose quality food and service will linger in your mind days after you were last there.

You and your company can have their famous pizza, pasta or those yummy continental dishes when you visit for your corporate lunch.

Mwang’ombe says, 75% of the restaurant’s dishes are Italian and the rest continental.

It is the only eatery in Kampala where you will get a pizza cooked the original Italian style in the oven using charcoal other than on electric plates.

“The fusion of wood with the dough, gives that authentic taste and smell that a pizza should have. And that is what Italian pizza should be, ‘natural’” said Mwang’ombe.

The restaurant also stocks an assortment of Italian wines. While you and your colleagues may ponder on what to wash down your food with, the professional waiters are at hand to guide you through the etiquette of food and wine.

For instance whereas you have a choice to buy what you want, white wine is better served with white meat while red wine is served with red meat.

The most popular wines are Pinot grigio castel firmian and pinot Nero mezza corana white and red respectively.
