IF comfort is what is driving you this season, imagine this outfit in a light breezy linen...

Outfit
Black trousers with a relaxed cut are teamed with an A-line shaped blouse with dramatic batwing sleeves in chiffon.

Tip
It helps to accept your shape and love it!!! Trousers with a relaxed cut will always be fashionable as long as all women continue having their unique shapes.

When cut right, they can slim fuller hips and thighs, the trick is to have your seamstress cut them (on the right grain) with a bit of a flare in the lower leg.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Linen or a linen mix fabric will do. The bell sleeves should ideally be made out of the lightest cotton you can find (cheese cloth) but if this fails, chiffon, georgette and others like this can be used.

½ a metre of double width fabric in green and black should be sufficient for the blouse appliqué.

1 metre of white fabric is ideal. Depending on how long and wide you want the sleeves to be, anything from half a metre will do.

2 metres of double width fabric is needed for the trousers.
