RESIDENTS of Apar village in Amuru sub-county have appealed to the Catholic Church to build a primary school and health centre in the area.

They said the nearest health centre was over 40km and about 450 children were idle because the area had no school.

They made the appeal on Sunday while Gulu Archbishop John Baptist Odama was laying a foundation stone for a chapel in the village.
