“I had almost lost hope,” Winnie Nabakka, one of the best pupils in Mityana district, said when she heard her PLE results.

Nabakka, a pupil of St. Kizito Learning Centre in Mityana, scored aggregate 5.
Speaking from her home in Kabuwambo village, Busimbi sub-county, she said: “I am so happy. I thought I would get 4, but the examinations were so hard.”

Nabakka said she wanted to become a doctor. “I am sure I will become one,” she added.

However, she is worried about the science subjects she has to do.
“They say sciences are hard, but I will try my best to do them,” she said.

Nabakka’s mother, Christine Ssetimba, said her daughter had been serous with her studies since she started school.
