“I attribute my success to my parents who provided me with all the necessities in school. I never got hungry or stressed. My role was to read hard,” said Faith Kusiima from Nakasero Primary School, who scored aggregate 4 in the 2008 PLE.

Kusiima wants to become a lawyer to defend the innocent.

She also said her teachers encouraged her, adding that group discussions also enabled her to exchange knowledge.

Kusiima was accompanied by her sister Rosette Kwamya, who also got aggregate 4 in 2007.

Her mother, Betty Kwamya said: “I thank God for my girl’s performance.”
Kusiima hopes to join Gayaza High School.
