THE Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has denied that there is a security vacuum at Entebbe International Airport.

In a statement yesterday, CAA public affairs manager I. Igundura said: “Security at Entebbe Airport conforms with international standards set out by the International Civil Aviation Authority.

On January 16, the media reported that PGB and the Police were fighting to man airport security.

Igundura said the security personnel at the airport are well-trained and equal to any challenges posed to the airport.
