IRENE Namatovu is a local pop with the Eagles’ Productions. She will be launching her latest album Ekiwubaalo this weekend at the Club Obbligato. The concert is dubbed ‘Eagles Vs Afrigo’.

Namatovu first stepped into the limelight with Naye Abasajja and she has remained a local fashion icon since then.
Namatovu is donning a purple silk top with embroidered detail that goes for sh45, 000 at the Irene’s Boutique in Kabalagala, opposite Cherries.

The black leggings with silver threading cost sh65, 000 at the same boutique while the peep-toe shoes cost sh85, 000.

The horn bangles go for sh25, 000 each; the earrings that cost sh25, 000 a pair and the silver ace-pendant necklace costs sh45, 000.

You will have completed Namatovu’s attire for sh290, 000 from the Irene’s Boutique. Her look would cost one much the same amount from Poison Boutique on Tank Hill Road, Kabalagala.

One with less money can still try to imitate Irene Namatovu’s look.
Horn bangles and earrings abound at the Craft Village near National Theater, where they cost sh5, 000 each.

You can also get ace-pendant necklaces, but made out of steel or aluminum, from here for sh2, 000 apiece.
Peep-toes costs sh55, 000 at the Betty Nakibuuka Fashions.

Anyone looking for a cheaper bargain on Namatovu’s clothes can also be sure to find the clothes from any of the outlets inside the Mutaasa Kafeero, a shopping arcade that is infamous for selling cheap Thai-made replicas of the trendiest clothes.

Here, one will get Namatovu’s top and pants for sh40, 000 altogether. You can also look into shops at the Qualicell bus terminal, at the former bus park where you will be sure to get the outfit at a lower price.

Altogether, one can achieve Namatovu’s look for up to sh178, 000 less.
