But below are some examples of adverse effects associated with specific medications:
Inflammation of the liver, severe allergic reactions and convulsions, associated with fansider

Acute chloroquin poisoning is manifested by coma, convulsions, low blood pressure and problems with the heart rhythm

Abortion, miscarriage or uterine haemorrhage, associated with misoprostol (cytotec), a labour-inducing drug

Addiction to many sedatives and analgesics such as diazepam, morphine
Birth defects associated with thalidomide and accutane.
Bleeding of the intestine associated with aspirin therapy

Heart failure associated with COX-2 inhibitors (Vioxx)
Deafness and kidney failure associated with gentamicin (an antibiotic)
Death, following sedation in children using propofol (Diprivan)

Erectile dysfunction, associated with many drugs, such as antidepressants
Hair loss and anaemia may be caused by chemotherapy against cancer, leukemia

Headache following spinal anaesthesia
Liver damage from paracetamol
Seizures caused by withdrawal from benzodiazepine
Stroke or heart attack associated with sildenafil (viagra) when used with nitroglycerine
