Umony is a gift from God
- EDITOR- When you talk about Ugandan football today, the first thing that comes to mind is the 22-year-old goal machine Brian Umony.
His precision, big game temperament, good positioning, speed, ability and vision have made him the most valuable Ugandan footballer at the moment.
Lest it is forgotten, Umony was actually the top scorer last season. It was those predatory skills that got him 15 goals in KCC’s championship winning season and also earned him the 2007/8 footballer-of-the-year award.
He then became CECAFA top-scorer in January. He has kept up the form with KCC in the CAF Champions League. That’s the kind of talent that can take Uganda Cranes to greater heights.
