NTUNGAMO - Over 1,250 orphans and needy children in Kyamate archdeaconry schools received scholastic materials and school uniforms. The items were donated by the Compassion International project through its Kyamate child development centre operating under the Ankole diocese in partnership with Africare–cope project. Cathy Musiime, a project director, said they also gave seedlings to the guardians and the caretakers of the needy children.
Kibaale Police recover sh49m
KIBAALE - The Police have recovered sh49m from two suspected robbers who recently hijacked a vehicle on the Kagadi-Kibaale road and robbed passengers. The district head of criminal investigations, Michael Ogwal, said there were two prominent businessmen in the vehicle who were going to bank their money.
