IGG must quit — Lukyamuzi
KAMPALA - The Conservative Party president, John Ken Lukyamuzi, has urged the Inspector General of Government (IGG), Justice Faith Mwondha, to quit office. Lukyamuzi said Mwondha was operating illegally after refusing to be vetted by the parliamentary appointments committee. “The re-appointment of the IGG is determined by the Executive and Parliament. There is no shortcut to it,” he noted. Lukyamuzi said Parliament was duty-bound to follow the Constitution.
