WHAT is with the song Bread and Butter by Good Lyfe Crew? It seems people just cannot get enough of it, especially the youth. On Friday, Brussels Airlines with partners American Airlines and Air Uganda awarded several travel and cargo agent personalities at Faze II.

It was quite a spectacle seeing the likes of Brussels Airlines general manager, Pierre Declerck, getting onto the dance floor and dancing to the tunes of Bread and Butter.

The winners: Vivian Nakabugo, Rita Luyima and John Wambere each won a Sony Bravia 26” Plasma TV, home theatre surround system and a microwave oven.

The 2008 sales agents awards went to Fresh Handling, Tropical Dynasty, African Organic, SDV Transami, TMK Goma, Kitende Enterprises, Starlines Tours and Travel, Bunyonyi Safaris, Speedwing Travel Centre, UTB 2004 and CWT Swanair.

Others were Travelog, Lets Go Travel, Uniglobe Intek Africa, Africana Tours and Travel, Lydia Bakashaba, Dorothy Opio and Emily Onyut. Brussels Airlines’ Belinda Sebunya hailed Air Uganda’s partnership and welcomed the airline’s announcement of increasing flights this year.

The awards were in categories, most improved passenger agency, top passenger sales, most passionate travel consultant, best exporter among others.
