Namilyango junior boy’s school and New hope primary school, Kasenge, Wakiso topped the just-concluded National Primary schools Music, dance and drama festival.

Namilyango junior boy’s school and New hope primary school, Kasenge, Wakiso topped the just-concluded National Primary schools Music, dance and drama festival.
The festival, which was held at the National Theatre, had 50 schools participating. It is conducted every year to encourage pupils to explore their talents in music and drama.
The pupils participated in a set piece on the theme: “CHOGM, original composition, creative dance, western style and folksongs.â€
Schools that participated received certificates of merit, especially in presentation of traditional dance, instrumental composition, folksongs, creative dance and cite singing.
The director of Education Standard Agency, Dr. Nassali Lukwago, handed over the trophies to the winners.
