PUPILS of Namilyango Junior Boy’s School were in a party mood last weekend after they emerged winners in the national primary schools music, dance and drama festival.

After beating 50 schools to the crown, the children descended on Nabinonya Beach in Entebbe where they feasted on a roasted bull and danced with their teachers.

The deputy headmaster, Mathew Ochieng, commended the pupils for their brilliant performance. “You made the school and your parents proud,” he told the cheering pupils.

He said the school was ready to defend the title next year and thanked the parents for supporting the school and the children.
