<b>Sudanese seek refuge </b><br>MOYO-The Sudanese refugee community has appealed to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to halt the repatriation exercise until the rift between the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) and the ruling National Congress is resolved.

MOYO-The Sudanese refugee community has appealed to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to halt the repatriation exercise until the rift between the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) and the ruling National Congress is resolved. Benai Duku, the general secretary for the Refugees Welfare Council III, said since the SPLM threatened to wage war, several people were afraid of returning home. However, the UNHCR spokesperson in Kampala, Roberta Russo, said her office had stopped repatriating the Sudanese from Moyo before the development.

MP Otto hails Museveni
OYAM-The Oyam South MP, Ishaa Otto, has hailed President Yoweri Museveni for launching a national peace, recovery and development plan for northern Uganda. “It will reduce the imbalances and rebuild the north.”
