EDITOR—Shortly after the recent graduation at Makerere University, I came across an advertisement at the Nkrumah hall notice board.
Interesting about it was that the advertiser was encouraging fresh graduates to apply for jobs in a company not mentioned! On top of this, all applicants were asked to pay some money for registration!
I was left wondering whether such adverts are genuine.
I do not think that a person who is desperately looking for a job can pay money to register for interviews knowing that the money will not be refunded regardless of the interview’s outcome. Fresh graduates be careful!
