BOXING officials returned from the World Boxing Championship without any boxers or medals on Monday. Team manager Ntege Ssengendo, coach Kent Musa and UABF executive member Richard Muhumuza led a seven-man contingent to Chicago, US last month.

The officials could not be reached for comment.

Three of the four boxers flyweight Philip Adyak, lightweight Sharif Bogere and light welterweight Eddy Akora, vanished in Chicago as the early rounds progressed.

Only Ismail Miwendo (featherweight) officially remained for training in US.
