FUFA not for gold diggers
EDITOR — I would like to inform Patrick Isiagi who recently declared his intentions to stand for the FUFA presidency that the soccer body is not for schemers.
The federation is for competent, accountable and financially able leaders who have the spirit and spirit to promote the game as demonstrated by Lawrence Mulindwa.
Isiagi was treasurer of a FUFA executive that left the federation cashstrapped. FUFA assets were as a result confiscated only to be reclaimed by Mulindwa.
Mulindwa’s team has gone even a step further to convince sponsors back to the sport.
With such sanity, why should we allow the same old wine coming back in a new bottle with the same old taste. FUFA is not for gold diggers.

Tight calendar
EDITOR — I was recently shocked by news that the UABF’s Novice, and Intermediate championships will all be staged in December.
Given that boxers upgrade from one of these competitions to the other, quality is bound to be compromised because of the limited time.
Don’t be surprised if you also have a poor national open and consequently sub standard national side
