Barbara goes missing; something is not right
Carlos Fontabo faces the biggest embarrassment of his life when the disks he gives to Avalaneda to incriminate Fabian, turn out to be empty. Now he faces losing his exporting licence and wants a piece of his daughter Marsha for tricking him. Will Marsha eventually give him the right disks?
Barbara has gone missing. Daniela and Inez are inquisitive. It occurs to them that they really do not know Barbara, after all, they have never met any of her family members. Something about the way Angella and Bernado are acting raises suspicion. Did they do anything to Barbara? Bernado tells his mother that this time he will not keep quiet. About what? The fictitious exportations or Barbara’s whereabouts?
Gian Carlo finally makes his move. He asks Paloma’s mother to dance with him and she accepts shyly. Love is in the air!
The police deport Berenice’s parents and take them to the police station. Diego, Paloma and Latore go along. Constanza sees the notice on the board proclaiming Berenice as dead and unclaimed! What will this mean for Diego and Paloma? Now that Deigo is a widower, will he marry Paloma right away?

Carlos Alberto finds Alejandro’s watch in Soledad’s hotel room. He calls her a cheap whore and she slaps him and breaks up with him. Still angry, he vows revenge on everyone including Jose Louis for advising Soledad to break up with him since she is still in love with Alejandro. He gets into a fight with Alejandro and shoves the watch at Carolina. Carolina shows up at Soledad’s place with the watch to demand that Soledad stays away from Alejandro.
Meanwhile, Emperatriz helps Rodrigo’s kidnappers to get their passports so they can flee the country, but there is a hitch. Gera and his men will take no chances. They are taking Emperatriz with them. What they do not know is that Reinaldo has his men going after them. The two parties get into a shoot-out, leaving Emperatriz lying unconscious on the street and Sabas with a bullet in his thigh. It is now out that Sabas and Emperatriz were lovers and that she was Gera’s accomplice, stirring up new hunger for revenge. Reinaldo shoots Sabas as Alejandro and his father go to confront Emperatriz in hospital, but she cannot remember them or anything. Or can she?
