Cross-generational sex is failing the campaign against the spread of HIV/AIDS in Uganda, the deputy director of Population Services International, Henry Semwanga, has said. Cross-generational sex refers to a sexual relationship between two people with an age difference of 10 years and above. Semwanga was speaking at a function at Hotel Africana on Friday.
URA impounds fake cigarettes

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) operatives recently seized a truck with contraband supermatch cigarettes. URA northern region manager Daniel Arorwa said the truck was loaded with 75 cartons of cigarettes, worth over sh20m. He said the truck was intercepted at Purongo in Murchison Falls National Park after the driver hurriedly went through a checkpoint at Pakwach Bridge.
