KCC coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe has spared nothing in his armoury – opting for a three-pronged attacking arsenal in a must-win Uganda Super League encounter with SC Villa at Nakivubo today.

With KCC needing victory to stay in the hunt for a second consecutive league title, Nsimbe will field international strikers Brian Umony, Robert Ssentongo and Anthony Bongole in an aggressive 4-3-3 formation.

“It’s a game I must win, we will attack Villa throughout. If we beat them, the title is ours again. I have no worries about URA, our challenge is Villa and that is why I will assemble my key strikers,” Nsimbe stated.

“I expect a good attacking game because Villa has got good strikers too. The morale is high, let our fans come and support us,” Nsimbe said.

Nsimbe’s three-man attack will descend on Villa’s backline without dependable Simeon Masaba who pulled a muscle while on Cranes duty in Ghana last week.

Yusuf Juuko will replace him at right-back in an encounter the Villa park side, four points adrift, must win to liven its chance of winning the league title.

“We are going to do our best to win the game because we must finish the league in a respectable position,” Villa coach Sula Kato remarked.

The game will be preceded by a tie between title contenders URA and unpredictable Bunamwaya at 2:30pm at the same venue.

KCC and URA have 74 points each but the taxmen top the table on a superior goal difference.

The league ends on Saturday with a double-header. Villa take on Police and URA host KCC. Villa can get back into contention if they win both games by high scores to boost their goal difference and hope that KCC loses to Bunamwaya and draws with URA.
