FUFA to unveil 10-year plan
DOMESTIC soccer governing body FUFA will unveil a 10-year strategic plan for the Uganda Super League at a workshop due at Mandela stadium starting on July 16. The workshop, the first of its kind in Uganda, is aimed at laying strategies for the development of Uganda’s premier soccer event. Meanwhile, the players’ transfer and registration exercise will start at various centres throughout the country next Monday and will last for one month.

UJL team set for Old Trafford
UGANDA Juniors League and Kenya’s Ligi Ndogo will represent East African in the annual Umbro International tournament at Old Trafford, the home of English champions Manchester United next month. Uganda’s side will field some players who were part of their U-10 and U-12 teams that excelled in the Cocoa Cup in Florida three years ago.
