A-1 CHALLENGE earned a walk-over against Nabisunsa on Saturday to maintain top position in the women’s basketball league.

The win also ensured Hamza Nyambogo’s team preserved their unbeaten record so far this season.

With one game left to seal their undefeated record, the 2005 champions could only be stopped by Nabisunsa whose chances of pulling off this feat appeared slimmer each day after their 56-59 loss to MUK-Sparks the week before.

Nabisunsa crowned their fate when they failed to show up for their match-up against Nabisunsa, prompting a walkover to be awarded to Hamza Nyambogo's Blue en Red outfit on Saturday at the YMCA court.

A-1 Challenge thus tops the women's table standings with a clean sheet after recording 10 victories in 10 games.

Meanwhile, in the men’s second division, Charging Rhinos beat Gulu Hawks 73-59.
