REFEREE Ramsey ‘Fidel’ Olinga has been handed the tough job of handling the Super 8 League title decider between rivals MTN Heathens and uganda telecom Kobs at Kampala Club on Saturday.

Olinga, an accomplished International Rugby Board (IRB) level III referee will be assisted by touch judges Charlotte Mudoola and Jacob Chagga. He downplayed the task ahead.

“I will be under no pressure. It is just like any other game. I will simply apply the laws which I know so well,” Olinga stated.

He argued that his association with Pirates will not affect his impartiality. There has been bad blood between Pirates and Kobs this season.

“It’s not the first time I am handling their game. I will simply apply the laws,” Olinga stated.

He handled the first round fixture between the two rival sides which Kobs won at Kyadondo.

Heathens go into the fixture leading the table with 55 points, three ahead of Kobs while Pirates are third at 50.

Meanwhile, the Uganda U-19 suffered a 25-0 defeat to Zimbabwe in their opening match in the Confederation of Africa Rugby CAR U-19 championship running in Kenya.
