IBRAHIM Sekagya struck a wonder goal as Red Bull Salzburg demolished OFB Stiegl 7-1 on Saturday but will miss Wednesday Champions League play-off against Israel giants Maccabi Haifa for accumulated yellow cards.

The Cranes defender met Jezek’s corner with a powerful header on 53 minutes for Salzburg’s fifth goal.

With just 24 hours left for their crunch first leg fixture against Maccabi, Sekagya ruled himself out of the Wednesday game against the Israel side.

Asked whether he will be fielded, he replied: “No because I have two yellow cards.”

The Austrian champions will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Champions League qualifying, and are also desperate to pick their first home win in this year’s competition.
