Lira district tae-kwon-do club had little respect for Tororo whom they humiliated 46 -15 points in a friendly meet at K-zone in Lira town last Sunday.
The event, officiated by Dickson Ogwang, was organised to prepare the two teams for the East and Central Africa Championships due in Kampala from August 29.
Ogwang, who contributed sh100,000 in support to the Lira club, challenged the martial artists to keep away from alcohol and drugs in order to be fit for the forth coming tournament.
Tororo captain Patrick Wobic said his side performed poorly because of exhaustion after a long trip to Lira. Tororo is about 264 kilometres from Lira.
