ESTHER Nalubega, Dyane Keitesi and Jackline Nakitende are in a career dilemma. This dilemma began immediately they walked out on their managers at Wafagio, to start a rival girl group and, with it, a new life.

Their names and faces had, prior to this, grown to be synonymous with the group Wafagio, which is better known for the hit, Mukidongo. The dilemma though is that many of their fans are not yet aware of the change of name.

Krystal Babes have to market their new brand name and faces, distance themselves from the old name, but more urgently release new songs and videos.

Currently, Krystal Babes and Wafagio still perform their old songs — Mukidongo, Love Doctor and Natuuza Entobo, with each claiming patent rights to them.

The girls are working on three singles, one of which, Binnyo Nkondo is already out. In all, Krystal Babes carry on the same old format of a dancehall-oriented girl pop group.

It still has Nalubega as the naughty one doing roughneck vocals and raps, while Keitesi and Nakitende are the sweet little ones.
