Uganda Super Eight semis
URA 3 Express 0
Victors 0 (4) SC Villa 0 (5)
Tomorrow: Final
URA v SC Villa

A combination of comical defending and inexperience helped league champions URA FC to a comfortable 3-0 win over Express FC yesterday and with it a date against SC Villa in the Super Eight Cup final tomorrow.

A lot had been told of how the mouthwatering semi-final fixture between URA and Express would bring the best out of a revamped Express side that had promised so much in previous seasons and yet fallen short.

If this game proved one thing, it’s that the Red Eagles might wait much longer for any kind of silverware.

Patrick Ssenfuka struck twice and Henry Kisekka the third as URA capitalized on defensive errors in the Express rearguard to guarantee a final against Villa.

Villa needed Tony Ndolo’s sudden death penalty kick to edge Victors for a nail-biting 5-4 shoot-out win.

The second semi-finalmatch had ended goalless in normal time.
