I read the article of a woman who is worried about her son soiling his pants in Education Vision of September 16. This is a sign of an abused child and the maid should not be severely beating the child as the mother indicates. By such an act, the mother is abusing the child mentally, emotionally and physically.

The more they beat him the more he becomes afraid and threatened to stand up for his rights. Out of fear, he will urinate and soil his pants. This child is terrified but cannot talk or defend himself. Who knows what the maid does to him when mummy is not at home? Someone has to intervene before the maid kills this child. That is how it starts.

Lastly, the child could have a developmental problem, like deafness or was sexually molested and is scared of adults.
