OVER 70, 000 families in seven sub-counties in Jinja district have received improved seeds to be planted this rainy season, under the Promotion of Food Security project.

OVER 70, 000 families in seven sub-counties in Jinja district have received improved seeds to be planted this rainy season, under the Promotion of Food Security project.
The high yielding and early maturing seeds valued at over sh5m were distributed to the farmers in Budondo, Mafubira, Buyengo, Busede, Kakira, Butagaya and Buwenge sub-counties.
The project is a brain child of Aby Kalule Sewali, a retired agricultural officer.
