13-year-old Ronald Torach was full of smiles as he received sh50,000 he had won in the ongoing cashlines game By The New Vision.

“I feel so great to be a winner in the game. I have been trying for the last two years, but finally I have got it,” Torach, from Gulu district said.

The Unifat Primary School pupil was accompanied by his father, Alphonse Olanya, to collect the money from The New Vision offices in Gulu.

The winner encouraged fellow children to play the game. He said he would use the money to buy a mattress and shoes.

The New Vision’s regional marketing officer, Moses Omilia, said Torach was the first winner in northern Uganda since the game was launched.

Omilla encouraged more readers to participate in the game, saying those who do not win have another chance when draws will be conducted. The game ends on October 18.
