A 12-year-old boy was beheaded on Wednesday at around 11:00am in Salute village. The Police identified the deceased as Owen Gumusiriza, a Primary Four pupil at Railway Primary School.
A 12-year-old boy was beheaded on Wednesday at around 11:00am in Salute village. The officer in-charge of Kamwenge Police Station, Raymond Onenchan, identified the deceased as Owen Gumusiriza, a Primary Four pupil at Railway Primary School.
The Police suspects it was a ritual murder. Onenchan said that this was the first such incident in Kamwenge.
Robert Barugahare, the deceased’s father, said he had left the boy at home preparing porridge for breakfast, while he and his wife went to dig in a nearby garden.
An eye witness, said some body parts, including the tongue and kidneys were missing.
